Water Mill Modern

On an expansive 4.6 acre property in Watermill, overlooking nearly 100 acres of horse and farm land, stands this 13,000 sq. ft. masterpiece designed by renowned Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld and built by Phil Kouffman Builder.

This exquisite home is the work of true craftsmanship and devotion to detail. Swiss manufactured glass, installed using state-of-the-art installation techniques, is featured throughout the home, including some pieces weighing 1,700 lb. Each piece of exterior stone was cut from individual pieces of Connecticut Fieldstone, giving an authentic rock wall look while maintaining a thin stone veneer. The ceilings in the kitchen and living room are comprised of 12,000 linear feet of tongue and groove white oak, alongside custom doors made of black walnut. Other materials throughout the estate include Jerusalem Gold Limestone, Bretagna Miele Limestone, Blue Betiague Limestone and Green Onyx.

Phil Kouffman Builder not only built this extraordinary home but also supplied shop drawings, technical advice, value engineering and design solutions to bring the cost of the project to a very favorable price. This collaboration of many talented people resulted in a living space that is unique and precise, with a natural feel.
