Phill Kouffman Builder is a high-end, well - established residential construction company located in the hamptons. We are in search of Estimators / JrEstimators to join our team. The Ideal Candidate is highly skilled in overseeing all phases of residential construction jobsites. If you feel you have what it we are looking for after reading below please apply.

Brief Outline of Responsibilities :

• Ability to read and understand construction documents and plans, Review plans and develop scopes with PM’s

• Do take offs from plans

• Create RFP’s to send to subs/venders

• Assist PM’s with sourcing materials tracking down proposals, ect

• Organize and qualify proposals when they are sent back

• Communicate with subs/vendors for any revisions to their proposals

• Source proposals and materials for change orders

• Create preliminary and pending change orders for PM to send to client

• Assist management with budget creation

• Prepare work to be estimated by gathering specifications and related documents

Qualifications :

• Excellent communications skills, verbal and written

• Hi-end residential construction experience

• Exemplary customer service skills

• Can do attatuide

• Solid computer knowledge

• Proficent in Excel

• Highly organized

• Problem solver

• Team player

  Education and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of proven practical or educational experience required

• College degree in construction management a plus
